• david boreanaz (knee injury impacted the whole middle of ats season 5)
• alexis denisof (bell’s palsy facial paralysis impacted the first half of season 5)
• nicholas brendon (his identical twin acted as a stand-in on a number of occasions when he was ill)
• anthony stewart head (wanted to spend more time in england with his children, role was significantly reduced in s6 and s7)

but the minute charisma gets pregnant unexpectedly she has violated her contract
